কুমিল্লা বোর্ডে ২য় স্থানসহ তিনটি স্থান অর্জন ফেনীতে এসএসসি পরীক্ষায় ৫৯৯ জন জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে

(১৩ মে ২০১১): চলতি বছর এসএসসি পরীক্ষায় কুমিল্লা বোর্ডের দ্বিতীয় স্থানসহ তিনটি শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান শীর্ষ ১২’র মধ্যে স্থান করে নিয়েছে।
ফেনী গার্লস ক্যাডেট কলেজে দ্বিতীয়,ফেনী পাইলট উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় ১১ ও ফেনী সরকারী বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় ১২ তম স্থান অর্জন করেছে। জেলায় ১৬৭টি স্কুলে থেকে ১০ হাজার ৯২৪ জন পরীক্ষা দিয়ে জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে ৫৯৯ জন। ফেনী জেলা মাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা অফিস সূত্রে জানাযায়,কুমিল্লা বোর্ডের দ্বিতীয় স্থানে থাকা ফেনী গার্লস ক্যাডেট কলেজ থেকে ৪৬ জন ছাত্রী পরীক্ষা দিয়ে সবাই জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে। পাশের হার শতভাগ। ১১ তম স্থানে থাকা ফেনী পাইলট হাই স্কুলের ২০৮ জন পরীক্ষার্থীর মধ্যে ১০১ জন জিপিএ-৫ সহ ২০৭ জন পাশ করেছে। পাশের হার ৯৯.৫২ শতাংশ। ১২তম স্থানে থাকা ফেনী সরকারী বালিকা উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় থেকে ২১৯ জন পরীক্ষা দিয়ে ৮৯ জন জিপিএ-৫ সহ পাশ করেছে ২১৮ জন। পাশের হার ৯৯.৫৪ শতাংশ।
ফেনী সদর উপজেলার ৫৪টি স্কুল থেকে ৩৬৬ জন,দাগনভূইয়া উপজেলার ২৬ টি স্কুল থেকে ৮৫ জন, সোনাগাজী উপজেলার ২০টি স্কুল থেকে ৬০ জন, ছাগলনাইয়া উপজেলার ২৯টি স্কুল থেকে ৪৭ জন,ফুলগাজী উপজেলার ২১টি স্কুল থেকে ২২ জন ও পরশুরাম উপজেলার ১৭টি স্কুল থেকে ১৭ জন জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে। এদিকে শহরের শাহীন একাডেমী স্কুল থেকে ৩১৭ জন পরীক্ষা দিয়ে ৩১০ জন পাশ করেছে। জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে ৬২ জন। পাশের হার ৯৭.৭৯ শতাংশ। এছাড়া সেন্ট্রাল হাই স্কুল থেকে ১২ জন,ধর্মপুর উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় থেকে ৭ জন, শহীদ মেজর সালাহ উদ্দিন বীর উত্তম স্কুল থেকে ৬ জন, আদর্শ উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় ও শেখ মুজিবুল হক উচ্চ বিদ্যালয় থেকে ৫ জন করে জিপিএ-৫ পেয়েছে।
ফেনী গার্লস ক্যাডেট কলেজ অধ্যক্ষ মোঃ আবুল কালাম আজাদ জানান,পরীক্ষার্থীর সংখ্যার কারণে কুমিল্লা বোর্ডে প্রথম হতে না পারলেও সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টায় এ সফলতা অর্জনের জন্য ছাত্রীসহ শিক্ষকদের প্রতি কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করেছেন।
